Schaeffer and I have been spending quite a bit of time outside this week, painting and doing yard work in preparation for putting our house on the market.
Wednesday, one of our favorite spring-time rituals happened for the first time. "Our band", Lake Michigan Catholic, walks our street daily, working their routine for the Blossomtime parade. It is great fun to watch the routine improve week after week, learn the dance moves and memorize the music.
Much to our surprise, this year's music selection is a number by Lady Gaga--Bad Romance. Needless to say, it is quite something to watch a Catholic school march to a popular Gaga tune.
