As Schaeffer Jo's school year comes to a close, they've planned many mini-events that mimic community-wide celebrations in our area. We've been talking about her parade for weeks-and she's been insistent--she is playing the violin in the parade. We found this a little unusual, as a violin is not a band instrument, but thought maybe she was right.
Well, it turns out she played the cymbals! We enjoyed watching her high-step and lead the other kids in her class in marching. There's not much doubt who the ring-leader is!
